"Our family moved from United States to Copenhagen in February 2012.

We got in touch with Else sometime during Fall 2011 as we were starting to look for housing as well as for a school and daycare for our two young children. Else presented us with multiple options for schools and had knowledge and insight about special services provided by different kommunes (communities) for non-Danish speaking children.

Else arranged us visits to  the best international schools in Copenhagen as well as some local public schools. Without Else's expertise we would have had no way of knowing that certain communes provide transitional classes for non-Danish speaking children. With Else's help we were able to assess the difference of putting our children to an international school vs a Danish school, and understand the impact of our decision all the way to the university level. Once we had made a decision regarding the school and daycare, Else contacted the correct authorities and arranged so that our children could start daycare and school immediately upon our arrival.

Our family had also specific housing needs. Else helped us to identify available rental properties, arranged all visits, and took us to see these properties. Once we had decided on the house, Else provided us her expertise with the contract, house inspection as well as interaction with the landlord. Thanks to Else, our house rental turned out to be a smooth and easy process for us. Without Else's expertise we would not have known how to detect potential serious problems with rental properties, and we would not have understood the importance of performing a proper move-in inspection and report.

Else also assisted us with various practical matters like getting registered in the Danish social security system (which we were able to do the next morning after our arrival as Else had informed us about the necessary documentation before) and obtaining a bank account.

Whatever our needs and questions were, Else returned our emails and phone calls immediately.

Overall, with Else's help, we were able to settle down quickly and easily. We recommend Else's services very warmly to anyone moving to Denmark, and would be happy to discuss her services with you personally."
