May, 2010 Relocare will give a two days culture course seminar mid May, for one of our customers, were their new international employees will learn about the Danish culture, why the Danes are the way they are, management styles, how to get friends, etc. The course is a regular event, which is held several times a year for this customer.

May, 2010 Spouse job search gathering and network options Monday 17th of May. Spouses whom have started their job search within the last 2 weeks, will meet to hear further about their network options, and also get a chance to meet and network with other job searching spouses, currently in the Relocare job search program.

May, 2010 Relocare will give a presentation at the Foreign Ministry, Invest in Denmark, to 15 highly talented Indian companies, about why Denmark should be chosen as their new future location for Business.

Marts, 2010 Else Christensen, the Managing director and founder of Relocare has been selected as female entrepreneur role model by Væksthus Sjælland, with is an organization operated by the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority. Online story will soon follow.

February 2010 As the latest news, Relocare offers the cross-culture course “Meeting Denmark” conducted in Polish. The course is specially designed for the Polish staff whom need to work with Danes, and in the Danish companies.
During the course we will provide the participants with a thorough understanding of Denmark, the Danish culture and the Danish working mentality, norms and understandings. We will explain and translate the Danish hierarchy and leadership-model, group oriented teamwork and how to build your own Danish network. We will as well focus on everyday life’s challenges and obstacles, how to get friends and how to understand and manage cultural differences.
The course is flexible and can be designed with regards to the companies’ own requirements with focus on an individual employee or group of employees.
And in Polish: Z ostatnich nowości, oferuje Relocare kursy kulturowe "Spotkanie Danii" prowadzone w języku polskim. Kurs przeznaczony jest dla polskich pracowników rekrutowanych z Polski do pracy w firmach na terenie całej Danii.
W czasie trwania kursu uczestnicy otrzymają solidną wiedzę z zakresu zrozumienia specyfiki duńskiej kultury i mentalności, jak również zasad i norm charakteryzujących duński rynek pracy. Poruszamy i wyjaśniamy zagadnienia dotyczące duńskiego modelu hierarchii i przywództwa, istotę pracy zespołowej i indywidualnej, jak również zasady tworzenia i rozwijania własnego network. Będziemy także koncentrować się na problematyce i wyzwaniach życia codziennego, radzić jak zdobyć krąg duńskich znajomych, jak również w jaki sposób akceptować i adaptować aspekty różnic kulturowych.
Oferujemy kursy odbywające się w grupach lub przygotowane dla pojedynczego pracownika, gdzie zawartość tematyczna zajęć dopasowywana jest do indywidualnych potrzeba uczestnika, z uwzględnieniem potrzeb pracodawcy.

January 2010 Agata and I have been at a 4 day seminar in Zurich about intercultural competence, communication and conflict styles. We are both certified in a unique intercultural competence development and testing tool, which will develop teams, organisations and individuals in their interaction with other cultures. Our feedback sessions, and workshops are build on several years studying, learning and practical knowledge. Thanks Agata, for joining me on this one :) Else

We will invite people to network, have fun and a nice time, and we will together with prominent guest speakers give our recipe to why our customers have success.
In the soon 3 years Relocare has existed, we are proud to announce that none of our relocators have left their job before time.
