What you don't know will hurt you for sure...What use is the worlds brightest and smartest, fully integrated, well functioning and hard working relocated foreign employee, if you haven't got the proper culture for sharing knowledge..?
Many companies are not properly prepared for the difficulties arising when highly skilled foreign labour begins working, studying and producing. Language barriers, cultural differences or personal issues could easily mean loss of important knowledge.
The Danish Government has provided the Danish corporations with a foreign employee taxation benefit, which is Kildeskat § 48. It is however mostly used for a starting period of 3 years, and can be extended to 5 years. Hereafter the employee has to accept a huge salary deduction. This can lead to the departure of the employee and crucial knowledge can be lost.
If the knowledge obtained during those 3 working years haven’t been shared or properly communicated, the real value generated in profit from the employee can be directly negative.
Our suggestions on knowledge management will decrease your loss on explicit knowledge and encourage sharing of tacit knowledge. It will as well decrease the amount of work which is done several times, resulting in increased work benefit and performance from synergy formed in different departments.
Our suggestions on improvement are tailor made specifically to accomplish our clients needs.
